This role is working with an ASX listed mining and metals company who have been operating on a global scale for over a decade with no signs of slowing down. The have offices across Australia, with this role sitting in their Perth offices. This is a hybrid role where you will leverage your technical and managerial capabilities to guide the team to success. You will be responsible for a team of 30 high performing solution architects and reporting to the Engineering Manager. The PMO you will work within has over 150+ staff delivering on a wide range of projects. You will be responsible for the resource management on projects, recruitment into the team, as well as driving quality solution architecture standards for the existing team and new hires. You will ideally come from a network or infrastructure solution architect or technical background where you can deep dive into projects and give consultative advice to achieve the best possible outcomes.
You will lead and manage a team of 30 solution architects who are a mix of FTE and temp staff. They are predominantly based in their Perth offices and most of the team do at least 2-3 days WFH. They are a high performing, collaborative bunch who are passionate about what they do and enjoy the project setup. You will be responsible for the hiring and managing of the team so prior experience doing this would be a bonus but not a dealbreaker.
