APS5 Case Manager
Job description
Troocoo are assisting a valued Federal Government client recruit multiple motivated and client-focused case managers (APS5) to join a high-performing team. These roles will be commencing 31st March 2025 for an initial 3 month contract (high possibility of extension).

- Manage cases under limited direction, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes in line with legislative and policy guidelines.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, addressing policy, program, and operational issues.
- Exercise judgment to make recommendations based on policies, best practices, and procedures.
- Prepare high-quality written correspondence, reports, and briefs.
- Set work priorities, monitor workflow, and identify areas for improvement.
- Support program administration and undertake additional duties as required.
- Previous program implementation or case management experience required.
- Previous government experience in a similar position will be highly regarded.
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A broad understanding of government policies and programs is desirable.
- While office-based work is preferred, flexible work arrangements may be negotiated with the manager upon commencement.
