Troocoo Government are currently assisting a valued QLD Government client in the recruitment of two AO4 Program Officers to join a high-performing infrastructure delivery team based in Brisbane CBD.
These are full-time agency labour hire contract initially through to 31/05/2027, with potential for extension. The roles are based full-time in Brisbane CBD and are offering between $60.06 to $65.82 per hour + super.
The Roles
The AO4 Program Officers sit within a central Program Management Unit responsible for supporting the delivery and oversight of a large-scale, multi-year transport infrastructure investment program across Queensland. Working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders, the successful candidates will provide critical program coordination, financial administration, and reporting support across a diverse portfolio of projects.

As the AO4 Program Officer you will be required (however not limited) to:
- Utilise systems including SAP, 3PCM, Primavera, Excel, and SharePoint to monitor project financials and delivery performance
- Prepare and maintain financial and non-financial reporting for project tracking and status updates
- Support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of internal reporting systems and processes
- Provide end-to-end project and program support to Project Managers and broader delivery teams
- Coordinate project schedules and facilitate program and project change requests
- Process progress claims and manage supporting financial documentation
- Complete key financial activities including contract approvals, journals, accruals, and end-of-month/end-of-year processes
- Provide administrative and system support across financial workflows and reporting functions
- Assist with ad-hoc project activities and operational priorities as required
To be considered a competitive applicant, you would demonstrate:
- Previous experience in program, project, or financial administration within a large or complex environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience working across financial or project management systems such as SAP, Primavera, 3PCM, or similar
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
