AO4 Planner
Job description
Troocoo is partnering with a leading Queensland Government department to recruit an AO4 Planner to support the delivery of regional planning initiatives across Queensland.
This opportunity will contribute to one of Queensland’s most significant long-term planning programs, supporting the development and implementation of new regional plans and infrastructure planning to help enable one million homes across Queensland by 2044.
• $65.81 per hour + super (agency contractor position)
• 12 month contract
• Brisbane City location
The role will see you:
• Undertake research, analysis and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of regional plans.
• Contribute to planning policy development and assist in the review and implementation of regional planning frameworks.
• Support project management and reporting systems, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and value-add.
• Assist with the preparation of briefing notes, reports, policy documents and planning advice.
• Provide administrative support including managing central email accounts, diary coordination, secretariat duties and reporting updates where required.
• Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including government agencies, local councils, infrastructure providers and community representatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging planner to build on their planning policy experience and contribute to meaningful, large-scale work that will influence the future growth and liveability of communities across Queensland.
