About the position 
As Head of Technology you will proactively plan, direct, implement and manage effective IT systems, applications and processes to meet the current and future needs of the organisation.  You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, with executive level accountability. Your team will be comprised of four divisions 100 staff nationally and through vendor partnerships. 
This is a broad role that requires you to deliver operational excellence and the delivery of a portfolio of work. Your aim is to also support the wider business to enable it to continue its growth and deliver its overall business strategy – both internally and to a large customer base.
You will establish and own the overall roadmap of technology including internal systems, security, and customer-facing services. 
Provide the highest level of advice and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders including the CEO and COO on optimizing the ongoing investment in transformational change and the implementation of key technology and systems.
As mentioned it’s a new role which is key to modernizing all their internal IT systems to meet user needs and internal systems, processes and infrastructure we require to execute the company strategy.
You will work closely with customers and other business units to help implement new customer platforms e.g. CRM (Salesforce). You will report to the COO and have close interactions with their CEO.
Develop, communicate and implement the strategic direction of the Technology function in relation to the overall business strategy and user requirements.
You will be the leader and advocate of change and be the trusted guide as the team and wider business navigate a high level of change across the organisation.  

About you 
A passionate and highly experienced Senior Technology Leader, that can demonstrate a track record or delivering exceptional outcomes against a back drop of change and wide-ranging business requirements.
As a people leader you will guide, mentor and establish high performing teams that develop under your leadership.
Demonstrate both operational delivery and successful project and program outcomes.

Financial services / insurance experience is essential.
