Job Description
The Ethics and Compliance Manager is responsible for managing the Group's Ethics and Compliance program. The position will hold responsibility for training, advising, monitoring and investigating compliance with group policies and local laws in all functions and subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities;
- Collaborate and support the SLT around development and execution of Strategic objectives
- Respond to E&C concerns and investigate compliance breach's
- Build healthy relationships with regulatory bodies
- Ensure high quality compliance and governance support to program managers
- Support and provide compliance assistance on growth opportunities
- Develop continual improvement in departmental processes
- Identify and escalate BCP risks and support the Enterprise Risk Team
- Support programs to meet financial targets
- Assist with planning and management of resources to meet demand planning and risks
- Lead and deliver a balance of preventative compliance and business efficiency
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a compliance role in a top tier firm or in house environment
- Detailed knowledge of compliance and governance laws
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce or Business
- Strong commercial acumen
- Confident and open communicator with the ability to translate complex compliance regulations to non-legal staff
- Influential and effective negotiation skills
