This client is a not for profit organisation, providing critical services throughout Australia. They are values-led with the vision of making a real difference in peoples lives. They are currently looking for an experienced employee and industrial relations specialist to join the team on a contract basis, with the potential view to extend further.
About the role:
As part of the role, you will design an employee relations transition program in line with the organisational strategy and employment legislation. You will be a trusted advisor and will champion and lead the organisational journey towards engaging a workforce through a period of transformational change into a new industrial landscape. This position will play a critical role in the design and implementation of a strategic employee relations solution to support the new implementation of a new service delivery model.
Ideally, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Law, Employee Relations or relevant. You will have a number of years demonstrated experience in developing and delivering organisational-wide strategic employee relations for a large/complex workforce. You will have an ability to distil complex industrial and technical information into practical recommendations across the business. You will have significant experience across a range of industry bodies, employment legislation, industrial frameworks and awards.
