About the role:
This truly is a unique career opportunity for an experienced Director - Marketing & Communication to join the LifeFlight team. Reporting to the CEO, and forming part of the ELT, the Director - Marketing & Communication will be responsible for managing LifeFlight’s brand and marketing strategies in support of the organisational strategy. This role will be responsible for raising the profile of the LifeFlight brands with key industry partners, corporate organisations, and the greater community to ensure the continued growth, sustainability, and success of LifeFlight.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop, manage, and implement marketing, digital, and communication strategies aligned with the company's strategic direction and vision.
  • Manage the marketing, media and communication units and establish structures to support the efficient flow of operations for the various divisions.
  • Implement a brand strategy that is understood across the organisation ensuring maximum equity for all brands and identify opportunities for growth and positioning of the LifeFlight brands in the community and with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement the social media and digital marketing frameworks.
  • Create, or oversee all content creation and campaigns.
  • Evaluate marketing effectiveness and performance using insights to drive change and development.
  • Provide exemplary leadership and day-to-day management to the marketing, media and communication teams.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional managers and directors to achieve organisational key performance indicators and goals. 
About you:
  • A minimum of ten years’ experience in a senior marketing role.
  • Marketing and/or business tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Exceptional track record of developing and deploying brand and marketing strategies that yield returns.
  • Strong understanding of the opportunities within the digital space with a digital-first approach to strategy formulation.
  • Strong marketing, customer relationship development, and management experience with a record of delivering projects.
  • An ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives, including executive leadership, customers, and the media.
