Founding Director - Hya People
Sean is one of the Founding Directors of both Hya People and Troocoo, a senior recruitment specialist and a leader in the fields of technical, engineering, property and projects disciplines. Sean is committed to continuing to develop and nurture Queensland’s largest network of leading professionals in his field. He has a strong passion in technology and is dedicated to the development of projects in south-east Queensland and along the east coast.
Sean sources and places technical professionals in a variety of major growing industries in the state and across the country, within a wide range of sectors including all industry market verticals. He has built new teams from the ground up and assisted in the expansion of established mature organisations, using extensive network search and selection methodologies to achieve best practice results. Sean has honed his recruitment and leadership skills over the last 22 years across Europe and Australasia, working with a range of consultancies varying from globally listed market leaders to boutique specialists.
It has always been important to Sean that he gives back to the recruitment community as a mentor within the industry both privately and via the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association (RCSA), and continues to be committed to driving a culture of excellence within the profession. His ongoing goal is to develop, grow and lead Hya People to become a trusted recruitment consultancy, building the future careers of our candidates and supporting our clients in delivering projects.
