Troocoo are assisting a valued Government client recruit multiple Business Support Officers (AO4). This is an initial 3 month contract commencing immediately based in Brisbane CBD. This position will be a support role providing a high level of administrative support to the broader team.
The hourly contract rate is $55.34 p/hour + super | You must be available to commence immediately.
Previous Government experience is highly regarded for this opportunity.
Your new role:
- Review data in SAP and create requests for quote and standing offer arrangements.
- Assist leaders and staff with accounting processes and procurement processes to ensure compliance (training provided, although previous experience preferred).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental governance frameworks.
- Actively promote awareness of procurement as a key business function to all departmental staff.
- Assist with reporting across multiple systems.
- Provide a range of administrative support functions to members of the Procurement team and wider business.
- Previous Government experience and procurement/contract administration experience is highly regarded.
- Availability to commence immediately.
- Sound computer knowledge/skills, i.e. outlook, excel, word, etc and needs to be comfortable with various databases (the position will use several).
- Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture.
- Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously.
